- Apply for your entry visa or pre-clearance if your route requires it before you fly

- If bringing a pet: complete microchip, rabies vaccination, titer test, and USDA-endorsed EU certificate - allow at least 4 months

- Register for your PPS number at an Intreo Centre as soon as you have an Irish address and a reason to need one
- Open a bank account (PPS and proof of address unlock most traditional banks)
