What is Relocora?
Relocora is a relocation planning tool for English-speaking expats moving to European countries. It replaces spreadsheets and scattered bookmarks with a single organised workspace built around your specific move: a personalised checklist, a document vault that links to your existing Google Drive, an AI Coach for questions about bureaucracy and housing, and application pack generation for landlords, banks, and schools.
Who created Relocora?
Relocora was built by expats who moved to France and went through the same challenges firsthand, navigating bureaucracy, housing applications, and healthcare registration with limited guidance. We built the tool we wished we had.
What countries does Relocora support?
Relocora currently supports moves to France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Ireland, with more European countries being added.
What is included in the free tier?
The free tier includes the personalised relocation checklist, basic AI Coach access (limited questions per day), and document linking for up to 20 files. Premium adds application pack generation, AI task suggestions, Google Calendar sync, and higher limits.
Where is my data stored?
Your documents stay in your own Google Drive. Relocora stores a link to the file, not the file itself. Your account information is stored securely on Relocora's servers.
Do I need to create a new Google account?
No. You use your existing Google account to connect Google Drive and Calendar. These are optional; you can use Relocora without any Google connection.
Do I need a lawyer or immigration advisor to use Relocora?
No. Relocora helps you understand what's needed and stay organised. The AI Coach is informational only and we always recommend verifying important steps with official sources or a qualified advisor.
What is the AI Coach and how accurate is it?
The AI Coach answers questions about relocation admin, healthcare, and housing. It is trained on official government and institutional sources for each supported country. It helps with planning and understanding processes. Always verify critical steps with official sources.
What is an Application Pack?
An Application Pack is a collection of your documents assembled into a professional PDF or a shared Google Drive folder, ready to submit to landlords, banks, or schools. You link the relevant files from your Drive, Relocora organises them, and you share the pack with whoever needs it.
Does Relocora upload my documents to its servers?
No. Relocora only stores links to your files in Google Drive; the files themselves never leave your Drive. This is the 'Bring Your Own Storage' model.
What do I need to get started?
Just an email address. Sign in with a magic link, no password needed. A Google account is optional and only needed for Document Vault and Calendar Sync.
Is my data shared or sold?
No. Relocora does not sell your personal data or use it for advertising. Data may be shared with service providers (such as our AI provider) under contract, and only to the extent needed to operate the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I use Relocora if I have already started my move?
Yes. Just tick off the tasks you have already completed and work through the rest from where you are. The checklist also helps make sure nothing important slipped through the cracks during the move.
How is Relocora different from just using a spreadsheet or Google Docs?
A spreadsheet can track tasks but it won't tell you what tasks you need, in what order, or what they mean. Relocora generates a personalised checklist based on your destination, nationality, and situation, and the AI Coach can answer questions when you get stuck on a step.
