How Relocora works
Relocation is a sequence, not a pile of tabs. Relocora builds one plan for your destination, household, and timeline - then keeps documents and deadlines attached to the steps that need them.
Read it the way the move unfolds.
A remote worker moving to Lisbon does not need a generic todo list. Relocora orders visas, notice periods, translations, and the admin that blocks the rest - so the next step is obvious.
Add a task to Google Calendar when the date matters; your move date stays the reference.

You do not upload files to Relocora. Link passports, leases, and proofs from Google Drive; Relocora stores pointers only, then helps you assemble what a landlord or bank asks for.
Application packs and unlimited linking are on the Relocation Pass.

Healthcare, school, and local admin continue after the flight. The plan stays with you through the first months, not just the packing list.
When an official letter is not in English, paste it into the AI Coach for a plain-English reading: who it is from, what it means, and what to do next. It informs; it is not a lawyer.
This is a request for additional documents from the prefecture - reply with your proof of address before the date on the letter.
Example of the kind of clarity the Coach is built for.

Frequently asked questions
- Relocora is a relocation planning tool for people moving to European countries. It replaces spreadsheets and scattered bookmarks with a single organised workspace built around your specific move: a personalised checklist, a document vault that links to your existing Google Drive, an AI Coach for questions about bureaucracy and housing, and application pack generation for landlords, banks, and schools.
- Relocora was built by expats who moved to France and went through the same challenges firsthand, navigating bureaucracy, housing applications, and healthcare registration with limited guidance. We built the tool we wished we had.
- Relocora currently supports moves to France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Ireland, with more European countries being added.
- New accounts get a 7-day free trial with full access — no credit card. After that, buy a one-time Relocation Pass: $49 for 6 months or $89 for 12 months (USD, tax-inclusive). Passes do not auto-renew. When a pass expires you can still log in and view your data; writing requires a new pass.
- Your documents stay in your own Google Drive. Relocora stores a link to the file, not the file itself. Your account information is stored securely on Relocora's servers.
- No. You use your existing Google account to connect Google Drive and Calendar. These are optional; you can use Relocora without any Google connection.
- No. Relocora helps you understand what's needed and stay organised. The AI Coach is informational only and we always recommend verifying important steps with official sources or a qualified advisor.
- The AI Coach answers questions about relocation admin, healthcare, and housing. It is trained on official government and institutional sources for each supported country. It helps with planning and understanding processes. Always verify critical steps with official sources.
- An Application Pack is a collection of your documents assembled into a professional PDF or a shared Google Drive folder, ready to submit to landlords, banks, or schools. You link the relevant files from your Drive, Relocora organises them, and you share the pack with whoever needs it.
- No. Relocora only stores links to your files in Google Drive; the files themselves never leave your Drive. This is the 'Bring Your Own Storage' model.
- Just an email address. Sign in with a magic link, no password needed. A Google account is optional and only needed for Document Vault and Calendar Sync.
- No. Relocora does not sell your personal data or use it for advertising. Data may be shared with service providers (such as our AI provider) under contract, and only to the extent needed to operate the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
- Yes. Just tick off the tasks you have already completed and work through the rest from where you are. The checklist also helps make sure nothing important slipped through the cracks during the move.
- A spreadsheet can track tasks but it won't tell you what tasks you need, in what order, or what they mean. Relocora generates a personalised checklist based on your destination, nationality, and situation, and the AI Coach can answer questions when you get stuck on a step.
